Music on Main presents the extraordinary musician and storyteller Gabriel Kahane, who will perform a selection of songs from his two deeply personal albums: the BC premiere of Book of Travelers and the Canadian premiere of Magnificent Bird, on stage in consecutive performances on May 10 and 11, 2023 at 7:30pm at the ANNEX (823 Seymour Street). Considered one the finest songwriters today, Kahane takes audiences on a hopeful musical journey towards radical empathy, celebrating the human connections he finds in quiet spaces between and beyond the digital silos of our online lives. This is a rare opportunity to hear two distinct yet complementary concerts back-to-back, both exploring moments in life that are at times heart wrenching and full of optimism.
