GRASS ROOTS WITH WHISPERED TALES (LIVE)!!! Thu Feb 05 (8pm-12am) - Grass Roots presents another stunner of a live show as it drops its well inspired monthly live jazz session. GR delivering a hand picked line up of the finest up & coming live bands across London and way beyond for your absolute listening pleasure. This month, we present WHISPERED TALES, a stunning live project lead by dexterous drummer and conscientious Italian composer Chiara Spigariol, deep in our new Intimate jazz lounge at The CLF Art Lounge Pop Up, Ground Floor Mountview.

GRASS ROOTS serving as a 1st Thursday monthly platform for promising artists to ‘polish their chops and play their own choons’. These fresh and fully inclusive sessions are a must attend for patrons and participants alike.

WHISPERED TALES (LIVE) - Band on stage around 9pm, performing 2 Live Sets

Grass Roots warmly welcomes back Chiara Spigariol - a dexterous drummer and conscientious composer from Italy who currently calls London home. Having already performed at Ronnie Scott's, The Vortex Jazz Club, Queen Elisabeth Hall, The Spice of Life and multiple events at the EFG London Jazz Festival, she's quickly building a reputation for herself as an accomplished artist.

Chiara returns to the CLF Art Lounge with a new project and concept album. Whispered Tales is a collection of carefully crafted compositions which marries modern jazz with folk music. Whispered Tales can also be described as a compilation of stories based on books, myth, theatre and art. These sweet songs will send you on an enchanting journey from Romeo and Juliet to The Little Prince, from the Symposium to Gustav Klimt's The Woman in Gold.

The band behind Whispered Tales boasts a multifarious mix of musicians including Nina Jenks on vocals, Tom Stephenson on keys, Mark McQuillan on bass guitar and last but certainly not least, Chiara herself on drums.

Grass Roots is a monthly live music affair which began life at The Vortex Jazz Club in March 2019 before briefly relocating to Notting Hill Arts Club in August 2021, now a resident monthly event at The CLF Art lounge Pop Up
