Youth Music Theatre UK is thrilled to announce that you can now book your place for their 2011 national auditions, either by visiting their website at http://www.youthmusictheatreuk.org, or by calling 0844 415 4858. They are looking for around 300 young people to perform in their 2011 productions. Auditions will take place throughout January and February in cities across the UK.

They are also able to give an exciting preview of our 2011 summer programme. 'Busted' star James Bourne is writing a new show for YMT. OUT THERE, co-written by Elliot Davis and directed by Steven Dexter, reunites the team behind LOSERVILLE: THE MUSICAL, which was premiered by YMT in 2009 and has now been optioned by producer Kevin Wallace (THE LORD OF THE RINGS) and is expected to open in the West End in 2011.

Death will be making an appearance in Terry Pratchett's MORT, written by Jenifer Toksvig and composed by Dominic Haslam; Garth McConaghie and Stuart Harvey are writing a brand new, music theatre version of MACGETH, set in a futuristic, post apocalyptic world; and the story of Korczak, the Jewish children's author who worked in a Polish orphanage and refused to leave the children when they were taken to Nazi extermination camps, will be brought to the stage by writer and director Nick Stimson.

They will be adding more shows to our 2011 line up over the coming weeks, so don't miss your chance to be a part of one of their fantastic productions next summer.

The first 50 people to sign up for YMT's 2011 auditions will receive a special code that will enable them to purchase an exclusive YMT hoodie for just £15. If you are one of the lucky first 50 people to sign up for the 2011 auditions, YMT will e-mail you to let you know and send you an order form and code for the discount, so sign up early to avoid missing out.
