Shoreditch Town Hall will announce their third season of new theatre and performance for the first half of 2015, including exciting pieces from curious directive, Greg Wohead, Ross Sutherland, On The Run and a career-spanning celebration from Vincent Dance Theatre.

2014 Fringe First winners curious directive present the London première of their multimedia science fiction thriller, PIONEER, which questions how and why we might make other planets our home, with a 2-week run in April. They are joined by the London première of On The Run's highly acclaimed, breakthrough piece SO IT GOES which wrenched hearts as one of the stand-out shows at last year's Edinburgh Fringe. In May Greg Wohead presents his one man piece, THE TED BUNDY PROJECT, which explores the confessionals of the infamous American serial killer and the tension between (fatal) attraction and revulsion, while another of the most acclaimed pieces from last year's Edinburgh Fringe, Ross Sutherland's STANDBY FOR TAPE BACK-UP makes a London appearance.

The programme launches in March with 21 Years / 21 Works from the challenging and innovative Vincent Dance Theatre. A collection of the most highly regarded work of Artistic Director, Charlotte Vincent including durational pieces UNDERWORLD, a London première with an original score by Gavin Bryars and LOOK AT ME NOW, MUMMY alongside screenings of 1998 film Glasshouse and a special archive space which will allow audiences to engage and interact with the work. There are also London premières from Bootworks Theatre and Unfinished Business, plus a piece from Chloe Dechery and three new shows from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, which includes the première of a new play by Philip Ridley.

Regular live music will continue throughout the season in the atmospheric basement space, The Ditch, with a host of exciting live swing, folk and jazz bands. And comedy will return as ARGComFestis unleashed in its new home for 2015.

Shoreditch Town Hall will also continue to provide a hub for artists, actively supporting the likes of Neil Haigh, Hannah Ringham, TOOT, Mark Maughan & Tim Cowbury, Hannah Sullivan, Oscar Mike, Ella Goode and Nicki Kent in the development and creation of new work, which will be performed first at the Town Hall in a number of work-in-progress performances throughout the season.

Shoreditch Town Hall Director, Nick Giles said: "From pioneers like Charlotte Vincent, who has always been a uniquely powerful voice in dance and performance that continues to challenge and surprise, to Ross Sutherland's remarkable STANDBY FOR TAPE BACK-UP and On The Run's deeply moving SO IT GOES, our third artistic season showcases some of the very best new and innovative British performance. It is work that whether confronting us, making us laugh or moving us to tears, is crafted by highly individual artists - providing deeply heartfelt work and experiences that stay with you long after the performance is over."

With work to increase the capacity of its main performance space about to finish, taking the capacity of the Assembly Hall up to 750, as part of an ongoing capital development programme, Shoreditch Town Hall expect to announce larger and more ambitious projects for Autumn 2015 and beyond. These include work by Kneehigh, and the previews of a new commission from The Wardrobe Ensemble.
