Photo Flash: In Rehearsal for Night Express Live's UK Premiere of MY SON'S HUSBAND
Night Express Live, under the direction of Raffaele Cericola, is pleased to announce the UK Premiere " MY SON'S HUSBAND" by Daniele Falleri, translation and adaptation by Raffaele Cericola.
What is MY SON'S HUSBAND? It is a modern comedy of errors that deals with irony taboo riding high in the world: gay marriage. It is a story with brilliant tones, sometimes comic, which feeds on the psychology of the characters and enters with nonchalant lightness in their familial ties. The author likes to stage all popular prejudices about gays, wittily playing with various cliches and then demolish them relentlessly one by one. The cast, composed of top-notch comedy, fun and moves the audience to tears.
Brief synopsis: Tomorrow Giorgino and Michele (aka George & Michael) are getting married. Taken at the last moment by a scruple of conscience, they decided to face their parents, thus calling into their apartment to tell to them the news. But the revelation of his homosexuality creates an uproar that goes beyond the imagination of both future spouses. Confused sexuality, unexpected lovers, secret relationships and plots that do not spare even the parents of the couple have broken out.
The play will run from Tuesday 9th February until Sunday 14th February. Press night will take place on Wednesday 10th and 11th February, 7.30pm and Sunday 4pm and 7.30pm. Ticket is £10 and concession is £8. For reservations and more information, contact info@nightexpresslive.co.uk or www.ticketsource.co.uk.
