Panto Cast Help Make Christmas A Cracker At Shopping Centre

Cast members of this year's Parr Hall panto have helped to make Christmas a cracker at Warrington's Golden Square.

Robin Hood and Maid Marian joined the man of the moment Father Christmas and his little helpers to spread festive cheer around the shopping centre on Saturday 1 December.

Ellie Carroll and Danielle Gregory were delighted to accompany Santa's sleigh as it toured Golden Square, entertaining Christmas shoppers and sharing the good news that pantomime is returning to Parr Hall (oh no it's not, oh yes it is!).

Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood will be entertaining families with singing, dancing and a good giggle from Friday 4 to Sunday 13 January and tickets are on sale now.

The event saw Golden Square launch 'Santa's Magical Sleigh' with its first-ever arrival parade before pitching up at the jolly man's 'Sleigh Stop' where little ones could hop on board and tell him what was on their Christmas wish list.

The sleigh will return to the shopping centre's sleigh stop, near New Look, every Saturday and Sunday until Sunday 23 December between 11am and 4pm to raise funds for its dedicated charity, The Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Peace Foundation.
