Music and More Come to the Belgrade for One Night Only

As the nights draw in with the changing of the season, the Belgrade Theatre will be brightening up the autumn evenings with another packed programme of one-off events.

This October, Coventry audiences can enjoy a diverse array of live music, dance and spectacle, including a breathtaking show from two-time World Dance Champions Flawless, and a special performance from groundbreaking artist Joan Armatrading.

On Wednesday 10 October, get ready for a jaw-dropping night out as Street Dance 3D and Britain's Got Talent stars Flawless present Chase the Dream: The Reboot. Promising bigger and better routines than ever before, this feelgood family show combines high energy dance and acrobatics to tell the story of ten "Big Dreamers", all hoping to live out their ultimate dance fantasy on board the "Intergalactic Dream Ship".

On Tuesday 9 October, Islands in the Stream kicks off a varied music line-up with another thigh-slapping stage show, featuring all the best-loved hits of Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers. Leave your 9-5 worries at the door and join us as we bring the house down with the ultimate tribute to the King and Queen of country music, filled with unforgettable classics like Jolene, Ruby and of course, the show's iconic title track, Islands in the Stream.

On Thursday 11 October, You Win Again serves up another night of nostalgia with a spectacular celebration of The Bee Gees. Immerse yourself in the unmistakable music of the Gibb brothers as you relive pop classics like Night Fever, Stayin' Alive, More Than a Woman, Jive Talkin' and Tragedy.

Headlining this month's live music line-up, the hugely acclaimed, genre-defying Joan Armatrading heads to Coventry as part of a new UK tour on Friday 12 October. Renowned as the UK's first female singer-songwriter to achieve international success, Joan marks her 46th year in the music industry in 2018. Expect familiar favourites as well as some exciting new material when she brings her second completely solo UK tour to the Belgrade Theatre.

On Saturday 13 October, Vampires Rock creator Steve Steinman returns with another rocking musical production in The Meat Loaf Story, offering the perfect way to get into the Halloween spirit. Delivering all the best of Meat Loaf's record-breaking Bat out of Hell album, this epic show combines stunning staging and superb musicianship with Steinman's distinctive sense of humour in one hugely entertaining evening.

Completing the music line-up on Tuesday 30 October will be tribute sensation One Night of Elvis. Join Europe's most successful Elvis tribute Lee Memphis King for an authentic recreation of the "Vegas years", accompanied by video screen projection and an orchestra of world-class musicians and backing vocalists.

Finally, on Friday 31 October, audiences will be treated to the UK's biggest burlesque extravaganza with the arrival of new show Tassels just in time for Halloween. In this glamorous production, a bevy of beautiful stars, specialist variety artists and fabulous costumes will entice and entertain with the perfect blend of danger and delight.
