La Soirée is taking a break from its normal Christmas season in London this year. Plans to return for a Christmas season in 2013 are well under way. The show has been touring around the world since it was last in London.
Every five years Glastonbury takes a break to allow the cows to roam, the grass to grow, the fans to take a moment to reflect on just what they’re missing. This year, after 4 phenomenal, record-breaking and award-winning winter seasons, La Soirée is doing the same.
Since its hugely successful run at The Roundhouse over the Christmas season last year (2011/2012), La Soirée has been touring almost non-stop throughout the world, taking in the longest run in the history of the Sydney Opera House, Hamburg, Montreal, Chicago, Darwin, Brisbane and winning best show of the fringe in Adelaide. The tour bus will continue its worldwide journey this Autumn with a run at Melbourne’s sensational Forum, and a return to Chicago, Sydney and Adelaide to allow the company some well-earned winter sun and, more importantly, to introduce their world-renowned brand of twisted kamikaze cabaret to audiences Down Under.
Although the show will not be playing the now customary London dates, plans are well under way for a Christmas season in London at the end of next year (2013/2014).
