Jack Studio and Jake Costello present SPANK HOUSE, created by Jake Costello and running Tuesday 9 through Saturday 13 September at 8pm. Press Performance: Thursday 11 September at 8pm.

True story. Barcelona 2008. Jake is 25 years old and pretends to be a qualified broker and financial advisor. He enjoys socialising with friends, long walks on the beach and cocaine. He takes money off rich investors who seem happy to trust him. Jake is a criminal. And he is going to tell you a story.

Spank House is a solo show set in 2008 when 'boiler room' scams were rife and so were news reports on it. Written using actual con-scripts that were used to dupe investors, it weaves in a darkly comedic narrative backdrop, involving psychotic ex-pats, Jewish playboys, old people, casual drug use and social media.

Jake is one of the many faceless pirates of a new sub- culture where virtual life is easier than real life. Spank House is written and performed by Jake Costello who is glad to share a story as colourful as his past.
