HOME Manchester Announces Amanda Fawcett as Assistant Producer, Theatre

HOME, Manchester's international centre for theatre, contemporary art, film and books, has announced the appointment of Amanda Fawcett as Assistant Producer, Theatre.
Amanda joins HOME from Bristol-based MAYK, where she was Assistant Producer working on Mayfest, the city's international festival of contemporary theatre, and starts in Manchester on Monday 20 August. Amanda graduated from the University of Warwick in 2015 and produced the UK tour of Breach Theatre's The Beanfield, before moving to the South West to take up her role at MAYK. During her two-and-a-half years in Bristol, she worked with MAYK's large portfolio of artists, touring work nationally and internationally, as well as working with independent artists, companies and youth organisations in the region.
"I've admired HOME, its ethos and artistic programme for a long time and I can't wait to get stuck in," she says. "Manchester's reputation for world-class art is an impressive one and I look forward to both contributing to that and experiencing all the city has to offer."
