AlEd Jones and Adam Cooper will lead Irving Berlin's WHITE CHRISTMAS when it plays Theatre Royal Plymouth November 10-21 and The Lowry in Salford November 27-January 9.

The musical tells the story of two showbiz buddies who put on a show in a picturesque Vermont inn, and find their perfect mates in the bargain. Full of dancing, laughter and some of the greatest songs ever written, Irving Berlin'S WHITE CHRISTMAS is a merry and bright theatrical experience for the entire family.

The cast will feature Jones as Bob Wallace and Cooper as Phil Davis. Also featured will be Suzanne Shaw as Judy Haynes, Rachel Stanley as Betty Haynes, Roy Dotrice as General Waverly, and Louise Plowright as Martha Watson.

Irving Berlin'S WHITE CHRISTMAS made its celebrated Broadway debut at the Marquis Theatre last year, and recently announced it will return this holiday season.

Irving Berlin'S WHITE CHRISTMAS features a book by David Ives (Is He Dead?) and Paul Blake. The stage production is based on the Paramount Pictures film, written for the screen by Norman Krasna, Norman Panama, and Melvin Frank.

Many Irving Berlin classics are showcased in the new production, including "Count Your Blessings," "Sisters," "How Deep is the Ocean" and the unforgettable title song, "White Christmas."
