The A Stage Kindly New Musical Theatre Initiative in association with Knockhardy Productions closes tonight, April 15, Roll on The Day, a musical drama by Laurence Mark Wythe, composer and lyrics, and Roberto Trippini, book and lyrics, at the Etcetera Theatre, London.

Roll On The Day is an unusual musical drama exploring the topical issue of the plight of an illegal immigrant from Nigeria trying to make an honest living in his adopted country.

Mark Vincent played Eko, an illegal immigrant from Nigeria, hiding from his past as a street artist in London - although keeping his previous life a secret is easier said than done when paired with cockney street vendor Dan and the beautiful art-lover Lavinia. Is all too good to be true for Eko or will his revolutionary past catch up with him?

The Director for Roll On The Day was Vik Sivalingam. The Musical Direction was by Tom Turner. The show’s Designer was Marie Kearney.
