A Stage Kindly Presents ROLL ON THE DAY at Etcetera Theatre this Spring
The A Stage Kindly New Musical Theatre Initiative in association with Knockhardy Productions are today announced that Roll on The Day, a musical drama by Laurence Mark Wythe, composer and lyrics, and Roberto Trippini, book and lyrics, will receive its World premiere at the Etcetera Theatre, London, in March/April 2012.
Roll On The Day is an unusual musical drama exploring the topical issue of the plight of an illegal immigrant from Nigeria trying to make an honest living in his adopted country.
Mark Vincent will play Eko, an illegal immigrant from Nigeria, hiding from his past as a street artist in London - although keeping his previous life a secret is easier said than done when paired with cockney street vendor Dan and the beautiful art-lover Lavinia. Is all too good to be true for Eko or will his revolutionary past catch up with him?
The Director for Roll On The Day will be Vik Sivalingam. The Musical Direction is by Tom Turner. The show’s Designer will be Marie Kearney.
Previews will be March 27 and 28 and the show runs until April 15.
