TOsketchfest Presents Flo & Joan, The Lusty Mannequins, Generally Hospital, And More!

TOsketchfest is proud to present sketch comedy at The Streetcar Crowsnest, a new venue for the annual festival March 7 - 17, 2019. TOsketchfest will bring more sketch comedy to the East End with Flo & Joan, The Lusty Mannequins and remounts of the hit shows Generally Hospital and A Sketch Comedy Extravaganza Eleganza.

Things got extra at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre when A Sketch Comedy Extravaganza Eleganza recently sold out their premiere run. TOsketchfest will remount this queer-forward original sketch comedy revue written and performed by the best queer sketch comedians in Toronto with three shows March 7 - 9.

Let's get clinical! Generally Hospital is a comedic show about a serious place: the hospital. TOsketchfest will remount this Toronto Fringe hit March 7 - 9. Generally Hospital includes songs about death, hospital rules during The Purge, and finding love in a room filled with farts - an hour of laughter, tears, and other bodily functions.

TOsketchfest welcomes Flo & Joan back to Toronto March 14 - 16. Musical comedy extraordinaires and British sisters, Nicola & Rosie Dempsey, once called Toronto home and are now making waves around the world with a massive UK tour, hit shows at Edinburgh Fringe and Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and millions of views online.

The Lusty Mannequins won Best of the Fest at TOsketchfest 2018, and they will present a full sketch revue at the Festival March 14 - 16. The Lusty Mannequins are Ashley Comeau, Alastair Forbes, Karen Parker, and Connor Thompson, combining for over 60 years of comedy experience including Canadian Comedy Awards and Dora Award nominations.

The Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival and Crow's Theatre present The Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival at Streetcar Crowsnest as part of the Slaight Family Performance Series.

TOsketchfest will welcome over 80 sketch comedy acts from cities across North America and beyond March 7-17, 2019. Previously announced headliners include Sasheer Zamata and The Buddy Cole Monologues at The Great Hall. Stay tuned for more announcements in the coming weeks.
