The Songs Of Nick Drake returns to Toronto for the first time in five years.

43 years after his tragic death aged 27, the music of Nick Drake continues to captivate and enthrall all who discover it.

Five years since this show toured Ontario and Quebec, garnering ecstatic reviews everywhere it went, Luke Jackson's labour of love project will play a one-off show at The Church Of The Holy Trinity on Saturday October 21st. Once againthe house band comprises drummer Don Kerr (Ron Sexsmith, Rheostatics), bassist Jason Mercer (Ani Difranco, Sexsmith, Bourbons), pianist David Matheson (Sexsmith) and guitarist Kurt Swinghammer. The string sextet will be playing Robert Kirby's original string arrangements for Nick's songs. In addition to featuring performances by the band members, special guests will include Emm Gryner, Justin Nozuka, Elizabeth Shepherd, Valery Gore, Aaron Keele and Sahra Featherstone.
