Princess of Wales Theater Presents GOOD MOURNING, MRS. BROWN 3/8/2011

By:

Toronto audiences have fallen in love with the irrepressible Mrs. Brown. If you want proof, just attend one of the final performances of HOW NOW, MRS. BROWN COW!, playing until September 4 at the Canon Theatre. You'll witness a laugh riot and love fest. Who knew that Toronto audiences could laugh so hard and for so long. As one patron wrote to us, "You owe be $8.99 for dry cleaning. I laughed so hard I peed my pants!"

Even the critics agreed:
"Explosively funny! The audience - myself included - LOVED it!" - Robert Cushman, The National Post

"I laughed so hard, I had tears rolling down my cheeks. Now that's comedy!" - Paula Citron, Classical 96.3 FM

"BRILLIANT! Extremely funny! It's going to give a lot of people a lot of pleasure." - Robert Crew, The Toronto Star

"FOUR STARS! One of the funniest plays you'll ever see!" - Michael Englebert, The New AM 740

"A full-on bawdy blast of wicked fun! Mrs. Doubtfire with an Irish twist. It's magically and hilariously delicious!" - Erin Davis, CHFI

The good news is that Mrs. Brown will return to Toronto. Just in time for the St. Patrick's Day festivities, Brendan O'Carroll and his merry band of thespians will be bringing us another of Mrs. Brown's hilarious misadventures.

GOOD MOURNING, MRS. BROWN focuses on Grandad Brown. He feels unloved and wonders know how people will feel about him when he's dead. Not one to miss an opportunity for a little mischief, Mrs. Brown and her offspring set up his funeral, aided by a drunken doctor and priest who is beginning to doubt his faith.

GOOD MOURNING, MRS. BROWN will be performed March 8 to 19, 2011 at the Princess of Wales Theatre, 300 King Street West. Tickets will go on sale at the beginning of December 2010, just in time for the gift-giving season. (Who wouldn't want tickets to a Mrs. Brown show in his stocking?)
