Slip on those "Blue Suede Shoes" and take a walk down memory lane with Blue Suede Shoes: Memories of the King. Come and relive the hits of the hip-swivelling, lip-curling King of Rock 'n Roll at the King's Wharf Theatre, onstage for four weeks from tonight, August 8th through September 1st.

"Blue Suede Shoes is a unique theatrical tribute to one of the greatest entertainers of all time, and it's a show that all ages will enjoy," says Artistic Director Alex Mustakas.

Theatregoers will be delighted as this nostalgic production explodes with one chart-topping tune after another. Get ready to hear a jukebox of hits from the '50s including "Love Me Tender," "Hound Dog," Suspicious Minds," "Heartbreak Hotel," Viva Las Vegas," "In the Ghetto," and more.

World-renowned Elvis impersonator Roy LeBlanc takes to the stage as the American icon who transformed popular music. LeBlanc has many titles under his belt, including "The World's Finest Elvis Impersonator" from the annual Elvis Extravaganza in Las Vegas, and Grand Champion of the world's largest annual Elvis contest in Collingwood, Ontario.

From humble beginnings to Vegas triumphs, Elvis embodied the freedom, excitement, and turbulence of his era. LeBlanc personifies the legend, entertaining the audience with his memorable music in a production that uniquely balances nostalgia, modernity, and raw emotion.

"This production is guaranteed to entertain and enthuse the audience," says Mustakas, "The music is absolutely infectious and theatregoers can't help but sing along and enact their own impersonations of the King."

Co-creators Chris McHarge and Colin Stewart play dual roles as Director and Music Director.

"McHarge and Stewart have created a unique theatrical experience that perfectly encapsulates the life and times of the legend that was Elvis Presley. With this show, audiences are given a chance to relive a simpler time in our history, when a young man rose from small-town life to world-wide fame," says Mustakas.

The incredible musical talent of Dean Harrison, John Kenny, Ian Koiter and Neil Lafortune provide the non-stop rock and roll music.

Theatregoers are encouraged to purchase their tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Tickets are available for purchase at the King's Wharf Theatre Box Office or by calling (705) 549-5555 or toll free at 1-855-372-9866. To order tickets online, visit www.kingswharftheatre.com.
