Great Canadian Burlesque Presents BEATLES-LESQUE at Mod Club Tonight

By:

Tonight, March 16th at 8pm the doors will open for Beatles-Lesque at the Virgin Mobile Mod Club at 722 College St. Great Canadian Burlesque and friends are using the theme and music of Beatlemania to produce a sexy-fun show featuring some of Toronto's best known burlesque performers along with a live band and hosting by Canadian Wolfman and Sketchy the Clown.

Beatlemania is Back! well.... sorta. Experience the Beatles story like it never happened. From their humble start stripping in Liverpool clubs, to their wild and dirty days in Hamburg; follow the story of Peeler-mania. From their first appearance stripping on The Ed Sullivan show to their iconic rooftop bump-and-grind revue, witness John, Paul, George and Ringo like never before... Exposed!

This parody show is a merging two of our favorite things; Burlesque and The Beatles.

See acts set to the music of the Fab 4, performed by GREAT CANADIAN BURLESQUE: Chaos Divine, Dolly Berlin, El Toro, Fionna Flauntit, Genie Emerald, Karen the French Swan, Pretty Penny and Sassy Ray; TORONTO ICONS: Coco Framboise, Tanya Cheex (Canadian Burlesque Hall of Fame); GUEST PERFORMERS: Belles Jumelles and Johnny B Goode, Charlie Quinn, Chow Mein (The Harlettes), Meryle Trouble, Miranda Tempest & Faeya Tal (Illuminair Entertainment), Scarlet Black (Illuminair Entertainment) & special guest, "Ottawa's Dream," Koston Kreme (Capital Tease & GCB); BAND: The Shitty Beatles - Hillary Thompson (Lunacy Cabaret), Marc Gorcey (Gorcey Family Band), Martin Loomer (Starfires), Dan Monich, Matthew Hendrickson, Evan Desaulnier. Hosted by Sgt. Sketchy & Wolfman Lennon.

The performance takes place at Virgin Mobile Mod Club (722 College Street). Doors open at 8PM, Show: 9PM. Admission: $25. Paper tickets: Eyesore Cinema 801 Queen West & The Sideshow Cafe 1300 Gerrard Street. Online tickets HERE.
