Since its opening night in 1960, The Fantasticks played for 42 continuous  years in New York and has spawned literally thousands of productions across  the world from Australia to Zimbabwe.

Featuring the hit songs "Try to Remember," "Soon It's Gonna Rain" and "They  Were You," this show has won acclaim the world over!  Hilarious and  charming, it is musical comedy, musical romance, vaudeville and parable all  rolled into one delightful theatrical package!

The Civic Light Opera Company is pleased to announce this landmark musical with music by Harvey Schmidt,and the bool and lyrics by Tom Jones as the opening production of its 30th anniversary season. 

The Civic Light Opera Company's talented cast of performers features Joe Cascone, Ashley Gibson, Roger Larios, David Haines, Larry Gibbs,  Larry Westlake, Jack Ly, and Andrew Byrne.

The Fantasticks runs from September 3 to 20 at Fairview Library Theatre.

PERFORMANCES: Sept. 4-6, 11-13, 18-20 (Thurs/Fri/Sat) at 8 p.m; Sept. 10, 17 (Wed) at 7 p.m.   (Sept. 3 is sold out);  Sept. 7 and 14 (Sun), 20 (Sat) at 2 p.m.

VENUE:                  Fairview Library Theatre, 35 Fairview Mall Drive, North York

TICKETS:               $25 weekend, $20 midweek (Wed/Thurs), Service charge of $2.50 per ticket applies to phone orders, Group rates available for evening performances
