Adina Katz Presents BE A GOOD GIRL At The Toronto Fringe Adina Katz' one woman, multimedia, musical show called, Be a Good Girl, has been running at the Toronto Fringe Festival.

Be a Good Girl is a solo dramatic play with comedic elements presented live on stage blending together theatrical scenes, film sequences, and original songs. Themes include sexual assault and repercussions, consent, relationships, the dangers of idealizing princesses for young girls, female empowerment, fantasy versus reality, and raising awareness of the far greater likelihood of being violated by an acquaintance rather than by a stranger.

Explicit disturbing sexual content, and mature language; must be 18 years or older.

Running time: 70 minutes +Talkback

There is a talk back following the 70 minute show where amazing, intimate discussions have been taking place. People have been sharing their stories and thanking me for being a "brave voice." One woman recently wrote on Facebook that after seeing the show she was "inspired to speak out about her story for the first time," and a male audience recently wrote, "Every man absolutely has to see this show... It has completely changed my perspective on the world."

Created and performed by Adina Katz from Montreal, Quebec. Adina wears different hats mainly in theatre, comedy, film, and music, having performed on stages around the world. She spent most of the last five years living in New York City and Chicago, the latter being where she released her first solo EP, "Back to Before," and produced, directed, and performed in, Lalala & Order, a musical improv comedy show at Chicago's Second City. This is her first one woman show.
