The film features the late GLEE star Cory Monteith in one of his final roles before he died at 31 due to an accidental drug overdose in July. ALL THE WRONG REASONS is one of two Monteith films set to debut at the Toronto International Film Festival, alongside MCCANICK.

Written and directed by Milani, the movie also stars Karine Vanasse, Emily Hampshire, and Kevin Zegers. Monteith plays a store manager, James, in the ensemble film, which follows four co-workers in a big box department store. Kate (Vanasse) is James' wife stubborn and isolated wife, Nicole (Hampshire) is a cashier and single mother trying to hold on to her youth, and Zegers plays a temp employee who shakes up the store dynamic.

Monteith, who starred as 'Finn' in the FOX musical comedy GLEE, has also appeared in the movie Monte Carlo, opposite Leighton Meester, Selena Gomez and Katie Cassidy. His other film credits include FINAL DESTINATION 3, THE INVISIBLE, DECK THE HALLS, and WHISPER. His television credits include a lead role on the series "Kaya" and a recurring guest-star role on KYLE XY. He has also made numerous guest appearances on television shows, including SMALLVILLE, SUPERNATURAL, STARGATE, FLASH GORDON, and INTERNS. Additionally, he starred in the 2007 television movie HYBRID.

As part of the prize, Milani also received C$10,000 for the project, which will be used for her next film Strathcona, now in the works for Shore Road.
