The Santa Paula Theater Center presents the Ventura County premiere of Christopher Durang's Tony Award winning comedy VANYA and SONIA and MASHA and SPIKE from July 10 through August 16 with performances on Friday and Saturday evenings at 8 pm and special summer matinee performances at 4 pm.

VANYA and SONIA and MASHA and SPIKE reveals the wildly funny dynamics occurring among the family of a self-absorbed movie star when she returns home to their Pennsylvania farmhouse with her 20-something "boy toy" in tow. Her revelations quickly turn a genial reunion into a hilarious and off kilter free for all. Winner of the 2013 Tony Award, New York Drama Critics' Circle Award, Drama League, and Drama Desk Award for Best Play, this production is not to be missed.

SPTC's production of VANYA and SONIA and MASHA and SPIKE features Raymond Mastrovito as Vanya, Peggy Steketee as Sonia, Aileen-Marie Scott as Masha, Andrew Garrett as Spike, Francine Daniels as Cassandra, and Rachel Addington as Nina. Supporting the production are director Fred Helsel, producer Leslie Nichols, scenic and lighting designer Seth Kamenow, costume designer Barbara Pedziwiatr, prop mistress Gail Heck, and stage manager Karl Krause.

Reservations for VANYA and SONIA and MASHA and SPIKE can be made through the Santa Paula Theater Center Box Office at (805) 525-4645 or online www.santapaulatheatercenter.org. Ticket prices are $20.00 regular admission and $18.00 for seniors, students, and military. Group rates are available. Performances run from July 10-Aug. 16 Friday and Saturday evenings at 8 pm and special summer Sunday Matinees at 4 pm.
