The brother and sister magic act that had the nation rooting for them on America's Got Talent will be appearing at the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center in January.

Booked for three weekends, Kadan Rockett and Brooklyn, also known as, # Kid Magician, hail from Destin, Florida, and made it to the semi-finals of the popular NBC television show America's Got Talent. Judge Simon Cowell summed up their show, exclaiming, "This is spooky. This is like real life Harry Potter!" following one of their performances. Since then, their lives have been filled with non-stop excitement - everything from travel, performing and honing their talents, to offers for appearances throughout the world and even talk of a television reality show.

Kadan, an eleven-year-old, has been performing all his life. Making his first stage performance when he was one-day-old, Kadan has done over 1,000 live appearances on theater and cruise ship stages around the world. His sister, nine-year-old Brooklyn, also debuted on stage at one-day-old with an appearance in Branson, MO, and has since appeared in over 500 live shows.

Both Rockett offspring got a boost in their careers when they appeared on two live episodes of America's Got Talent portraying mini Howie Mandell and Sharon Osbourne in 2011 as a part of a performance staged by illusionist Seth Grabel. Video clips of this went viral around the world and they appeared in over 80 magazines and papers along with an appearance on Access Hollywood. After that, their lives became filled with getting managers, agents and starting a whole career.

Kadan, recognized as the youngest professional magician/illusionist in the world, and his sister, Brooklyn, grew up watching their mom and dad headline theaters and cruise ships around the globe with magic and variety shows. While Kadan and Brooklyn have their own unique style, they are following in their parents' footsteps as they pursue acting, magic, illusion, ventriloquism, music and dance. Between the two of them, they have already conquered starring in both independent and feature films, television shows, and numerous commercials as well as performing in their live shows.

Along with his stints on America's Got Talent, Kadan also appeared with Blake Shelton on his NBC Special, on the new CBS Show Rush Hour and Heidi Klum's Seriously Funny Kids on the Lifetime Network. He also appeared in numerous films, including a leading role in Dark Skies alongside Keri Russell. He has appeared in fourteen national television commercials and also had a starring role in the live stage production of Cirque: Illusions of Grandeur which played in 2.000 to 3,000 seat venues when touring.

Brooklyn, while best recognized for her America's Got Talent appearances alongside brother Kadan, also has some acting credits to her name with an appearance on as a guest on the show Subletowns and she acted in the pilot of a show called I Wanna Marry Larry. She also has appeared in commercials.

Father, Bart Rockett, Master Magician and Ventriloquist, will be appearing as a special guest in his children's' show at the Cultural Arts Center. No stranger to that stage, Bart appeared there back in 2004. An entertainer and magician since he was quite young, Bart is quick to tell people, "When I was ten I was doing kids' parties and magic shows at the library and here is my son doing big, live television performances."

The past few months have been a flurry of travel and appearances including those in London and in Italy where they made a guest performance on Italy's Got Talent. They have also appeared in shows in New Jersey, New York, the Midwest and California and will be heading south to appear on Latin America's Telumundo network in January. In February they will be appearing live on Chinese television for a 10-minute performance for the Chinese New Year's Eve special which is much like Dick Clark's New Year's Eve Special from New York City.

On New Year's Eve, Kaden and Brooklyn will also be hosting a live New Year's special from Times Square in New York City featuring guest performances from their America's Got Talent friends and other celebrities. The show can be watched on Kadan's Facebook page live. You can access that page on Facebook by searching for Kadan Bart Rockett.
