Somewhere, a group is holding a young woman in a locked room, against her will. They aren't going to hurt her. They don't want any ransom. They just want to change her mind about her unwanted pregnancy. That's the premise behind Keely and Du, Jane Martin's controversial drama on the continuing, contentious debate over abortion in America. Though it was written almost 25 years ago, current developments in a number of states including Kentucky, Alabama, Indiana and Alaska make this chilling script seem based on events of the present day.
Popular Caroline O'Connor Joins Broadway Theatre Project 2018 Summer Faculty

Now entering its 28th year, Broadway Theatre Project (BTP) announces more 2018 visiting artists. Joining the 2018 BTP Summer Institute is Caroline O'Connor, born in Oldham, Lancashire England. At age 10, O'Connor was named Australian Irish Dance Champion and went on to train at the Royal Ballet School in London, until Anthony Warlow (Australian musical theatre actor) pointed her in the direction of musical theatre. She made her Broadway debut as Velma Kelly in Chicago, and played Mabel in Mack & Mabel, which earned her an Olivier award nomination. Currently, O'Connor is on Broadway for the musical, Anastasia as Countess Lily Malevsky at the Broadhurst Theatre.

Will Eno, hailed by the New York Times as a Samuel Becket for the Jon Stewart generation, writes plays of depth, filled with off-beat humor and absurd, but real, situations. In Gnit, he's created a faithful, unfaithful, and willfully American misreading of Henrik Ibsen's Peer Gynt.
