Stageworks presents a staged reading of Mark E. Leib's comedy THE FUNNY THING IS, I STILL LOVE THIS PLACE, at 8 pm. Tuesday, July 30. There will be an audience talkback after the reading. Admission is free.

The play is about a young woman who sets out to marry a poor young poet, without realizing that her parents are determined to prevent the marriage.

Actors include: Roxanne Faye, Matt Lunsford, Paul Potenza,Natalie Symons and Jim Sorenson .Playwright Leib is best known in the Tampa Bay area as theatre critic for Creative Loafing, but his plays and adaptations have been produced Off-Broadway, in Cambridge at the American Repertory Theatre, and at the Edinburgh Festival in Scotland.
