The Eight Cellists of The Metropolitan Orchestra (TMO) are set to perform for the first time within the intimate surrounds of the charming Balmain Town Hall on Sunday March 28th at 3:30pm. Supported by Inner West Council and presented as part of Inner West Fest, TMOs cellists will dazzle the audience with a beautiful choice of music including classic pieces by Shostakovich, Barber, Beving, Pergolesi, Prt and Tavares in addition to a few surprises including a re-imagining of Led Zeppelins rock classic, Kashmir and a stylish Beatles medley, all delivered in a refreshing style highlighting the deep, warm sounds of the Cello. TMOs Cellists will put a smile on your face and a spring in your step during what will be a perfectly musical Autumn Sunday afternoon.
