By turns dramatic, lyrical and powerfully intense, this work will long be remembered in the hands of these stars of Australian classical music. Dont miss the chance to hear this world-class string quartet live in Sydney, in their Riverside debut: chosen for Deutsche Grammophons historic first Australian recording release, and touring (pre-COVID) to Asia, Europe and North America, the Oravas will bring their inimitable touch to Shostakovichs sixth string quartet at first glance carefree and optimistic yet still somehow unsettling directly from their highly anticipated second album, due for 2022 release.
