The gritty underbelly of Adelaide is exposed in this Film Noir classic “Shadows in the City of Light”, a long form drama brought to you by On the Fly, where the audience are asked to select key elements in the un-folding of the drama night after night. Who is the mysterious man brought in by police? Why is he covered in blood? And why can’t he remember anything?
Through flashbacks and re-plays we solve the mystery with a cast of delicious characters that may include: exotic femme fatales, a religious relic, stolen goods, embezzlement,down-and-out conflicted hard-boiled detectives or private eyes, cops, gangsters, government agents, a lone wolf, socio-paths or killers, crooks, war veterans, politicians, petty criminals, murderers, or just plain Joes.
You select the weapons, the circumstances and influence the plot! Then sit back and watch the cast weave it all together in a riotous brooding and sinister comedy.
