Working Management and Hayes Theatre Co presents, Time is a Traveller, starring David Harris as part of its Cabaret in Residence at the Hayes Theatre Co on every Sunday from April 13 - May 4.

The son of a coal mining dad and a secretary mum, this is the story of an Aussie country kid and what lead him to tread the boards in some of Australia's biggest musicals.

Time is a Traveller weaves the songs and stories that have helped shape David's career and is an intimate, personal and candid story of one of Australia's most acclaimed leading men.

Being no stranger to major stages here and around the world, this is a rare opportunity to see David in the intimate space of Sydney's new home of cabaret. This will be audiences' last chance to see him before he leaves our shores for the bright lights of New York City.

Since being awarded a MO Award for Best New Talent in 1997, David Harris has become one of the most acclaimed Australia's leading men of his generation. He has received critical acclaim for his portrayal of Chris in Cameron Mackintosh's new production of Miss Saigon as well as his performance as Fiyero in the Australian touring production of Wicked. David recently starred as Emmett Forrest in the Australian production of Legally Blonde. Other highly regarded performances include; baseball hero Joe Hardy in Damn Yankees; John Brookes inLittle Women; the dedicated union leader Prez in Pajama Game; the student revolutionary Perchik in Fiddler On The Roof alongside Topol; Malcolm in The Full Monty; John in Andrew Lippa's John & Jen; and Jimmy Smith in the Australian premiere of Thoroughly Modern Millie.
