THE BODYBAG THE PANTO Rounds Out Cast with Heath Keating and Markesha McCoy
After the announcement of The Bodybag - the Panto, Trevor Ashley is thrilled to announce two new cast members to round out this hilarious night: Heath Keating & Markesha McCoy.
Hot off the heels of him appearing in the recent tour of The Bodyguard : The Musical, HEATH KEATING joins our cast playing not only Rachel Marinade's incredibly buff stalker, but all of the staff at Marinade Manor. Prior to the totally unrelated The Bodyguard, Heath's diverse range of talents have been seen on stage in top touring productions including Hairspray - The Musical, A Chorus Line, Handa Opera's Carmen, and Grease - The Musical.
On screen, Heath featured in the Top 11 dancers on Season 3 of Channel 10's So You Think You Can Dance, and has performed on The X Factor, The Logies, Sunrise, Today and Dancing With the Stars.
In order to win a Helpmann, we knew we needed an American import, so introducing New York based performer MARKESHA MCCOY. Markesha will play Rachel's jealous sister Nikki Marinade. Markesha has appeared as Justice in Rock of Ages (Vegas Original Cast) and as a Diva in Priscilla Queen of the Desert (Original NCL Cast).
They will join Trevor Ashley who plays multi-award winning superstar Rachel Marinade and GUS MURRAY who plays Tank Charmer, Rachel's security expert. Gus recently starred as Ricky Truswell in Miracle City at the Sydney Opera House.
"It is such a thrill to be sharing the stage with a powerhouse like Trevor Ashley. Throw in the comic genius of Phil Scott and it means I will have to bring my A-grade steely stare to keep up Tank Charmer." says Gus.
