ROCK OF AGES Australian Production Wins 2012 Helpmann Award for Best Choreography

Tonight at the Sydney Opera House the Helpmann Awards were presented to the entertainment industry. The Helpmann Award for Best Choreography in a Musical was awarded to Kelly Devine for the Australian production of Rock of Ages.
The Helpmann Awards are the premier awards event for the Australian performing arts and live entertainment industry, and celebrate the significant contribution the sector makes to the Australian community. This year a record 829 entries were received across 41 categories. The Awards receive national media attention with a live broadcast on television. Rodney Rigby, Producer, said “"We are thrilled that our industry peers have recognised the extraordinary work of Kelly Devine in Rock of Ages.”
