OzCabaret, an Australian troupe of 'songeliers' comprising professionally trained vocalists and musicians Jessica Edmeades, Katrina Kirkwood and Sarah Regan will present the world premieres of two shows; Champagne Cabaret and Wine Cabaret at the 2013 Adelaide Fringe.

A completely new concept Champagne Cabaret and Wine Cabaret will see the songeliers international brand of music combined with an interactive wine tasting experience wherein carefully chosen still and sparkling wines are paired with musical interpretations of INXS, Eskimo Joe, Neil Diamond, Cold Chisel, Jeff Buckley, The Eagles, U2, Nancy Sinatra, Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, Oasis, Bon Jovi, Queen and The Cranberries and many more.

Both shows will be performed at Adelaide's Universal Wine Bar at 285 Rundle Street in an innovative partnership with OzCabaret in which the Universal provides audiences with a selection of five exceptional wines to taste during each show. The partnership also marks the first time the Universal has been used as a Fringe venue.

Champagne Cabaret will play at 6.00pm and Wine Cabaret at 9.00pm play Sunday through Thursday for the duration of the Fringe. All tickets are $19.00 with wine tasting included in the ticket price. Booking may be made at Fringetix on 1300 FRINGE or at adelaidefringe.com.au. Discounts are available for cheap Tuesdays, Fringe Benefits members and BankSA customers.

Champagne Cabaret offers a celebration of life in all its froth and bubbles featuring stories music and winesongs from the likes of Queen, Morrissey and Bublé paired with five unique sparkling wines. Wine Cabaret by contrast features story, music and winesongs from the likes of INXS, U2, Cold Chisel and The Eagles paired with five unique wines.

Jessica Edmeades said, 'Both shows are musical toasts to the funny, embarrassing, honest moments that are aroused by the enticing elixir of sparkling and wine.

'We spent six months in the Netherlands, and an intensive four-month period in the UK developing both shows and we're really excited to head back home to perform. Our new shows incorporate a lot of our Aussie culture, stories of growing up, travel experiences and of course our own personal experiences with Australian wine. As fervent wine lovers and passionate entertainers, we create a fusion of two worlds, wine and song...'
