Amelia Jane Hunter Presents THE BLUE HOUR at Sydney Comedy Store Originally from Darwin, Amelia Jane Hunter now lives and loves in the land of bone structure, broad shoulders and shouldering eye contact; Berlin. Playing at Sydney's Comedy Store for one night only on March 29, Amelia Jane Hunter has been touring Australia for the past few months.

The Blue Hour charters the span of freedom, the hour of dreaming and the subterranean paradise of Berlin. An unstoppable adventurer and elusive chameleon, Amelia will stop at nothing in her quest to discover what she never learnt at finishing school - love, compassion and the depths of a darkroom.

"The need for sunshine, salt water and a magpie lullaby after surviving a brutal, unrelenting and ruthless regime of German grammar and a sullen winter, is one of the many reasons I've returned to Australia, Plus I miss my Mum," said Amelia. "I adore the comedy stages and festivals, I get to see old friends and all I've created in the dark corners of a northern winter come to life. The Blue Hour is my love letter to Berlin, Darwin and several other influential factors in my life"

Riveting, ribald and completely uncensored, Amelia is a powerful storyteller with a penchant for the theatrical. Never short of a story or afraid to pepper the air blue, she is the carnival ride that should have been closed down the day Michael Jacksons' hair caught fire.

Winner of the MICF Moosehead Award, Sydney Comedy Festival Directors Prize and nominated for Perth Fringe Comedy 2015, Amelia returns with a comedy cabaret inspired by bullet ridden basements and a backdrop of stoic pride.
