Francesca Verunelli won the composition competition, which, the art Mentor Foundation Lucerne had invited together with the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra 2011. Now it presents itself with a new composition. In the political fate in 1933, Kurt Weills leads back Second Symphony, which is a particularly dedicated trustee Michael Sanderling. And after the concert break, the Russian master violinist acclaimed around the world for many years Viktoria Mullova finally makes her debut at the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra. With a work that is cut on the body - the first Concerto by Shostakovich, a gripping work dating back to 1955.
