The year is 1898., The new Royal Theatre in Stockholm is completed. On stage, repeated the ballet Raymonda, a story about a woman who is drawn to two different men. Love The problems go back in the wings and also the ballerina who plays the main character must make the same tough choices. The audience follows the drama both on and behind the stage in a unique set where dance paintings of the 1800 century masters Eduard Degas and Henri Toulouse-Lautrec provide inspiration and insights to life and dance behind the curtain and the scene in the late 1800s. Award-winning Swedish choreographer Pontus Lidberg As previously created works for among others Semperoper Ballett Dresden, Le Ballet du Grand Théâtre de Genève and The Royal Ballet, creating a new classical ballet production for the Royal Ballet, based in fact, Raymonda. For the set design and costumes are world-renowned architect and designer Patrick Kinmonth who among other things worked for Vogue magazine and a number of opera and ballet companies around the world.
