In our dance program, you’ll enhance your knowledge and abilities in ballet, modern dance, jazz and tap dance technique, as well as choreography/dance composition, dance history, rhythmic analysis, production, theory and practice, and performance. Prepare for a career in dance performance and choreography. Coursework includes ballet, modern dance, jazz, tap dance technique, world dance, improvisation and composition of dance, and dance production, among other topics. Upon completion of degree requirements, seniors will complete an undergraduate research project through the production of a choreographed concert.
