Oswego's music program, which offers bountiful hands-on learning opportunities, is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music. Through its four components -- music history and literature, music theory, applied studio study and ensemble performance -- it provides both music and non-music majors with many opportunities to study and perform. You can learn to play an instrument, participate in various performing groups, compose music, explore audio production/technology, take courses in music theory or literature and attend concerts presented throughout the year.

The DOWNTOWN URBAN ARTS FESTIVAL will present 16 plays (nine shorts and seven one-acts.) The festival kicks off on Friday, May 5 and Saturday, May 6 when Savion Glover and Reg E.
