About the program

The Binghamton University Theatre Department offers courses and degree programs for a Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts, and a combined Theatre BA/Masters in Public Administration program. Undergraduates concentrate in one of the following three areas: Acting/Directing, Dance, or Design and Technical Theatre. Graduate students (MA program) can concentrate on Directing, Theory, Performance, or Technical Production and Design; however MA students are not required to choose a concentration. Students of the combined BA/MPA program should declare their interest as early as possible, preferably in their freshman or sophomore year. A Theatre Minor is also available.
