The Sheldon and Peter Martin Music present Peter Martin Music: Live featuring Christian McBride, Saturday, September 11 at 8 p.m. in the perfect acoustics of the Sheldon Concert Hall.

Grammy Award-winner Christian McBride is one of today's most in-demand jazz musicians. Known for his virtuosic skill on the bass, with a flair for improvisation and creativity, McBride has performed with everyone from Diana Krall and McCoy Tyner, to Sting and Kathleen Battle.

Raised in St. Louis, and with strong roots in the New Orleans jazz scene, Peter Martin is an accomplished pianist, producer, arranger and composer, and has traveled the world and played with today's finest jazz musicians, from Diane Reeves to Wynton Marsalis. Through the recurring Peter Martin Music: Live series, Martin showcases jazz masters past and present in an intimate and casual setting.
