STAGES ST. LOUIS, the region's foremost not-for-profit musical theatre company and performing arts academy, celebrating its 25th anniversary season has named Jim Curran and Kara Meister to the Board of Trustees.

Jim Curran is a consultant and the Director of Business Development for CBIZ, a professional services company. Curran has held numerous appointed positions through corporate and foundation and non-profit volunteer affiliations, including the St. Louis Wheelchair Athletic Association, Junior Chamber International - JCI Metro and Voices for Children. His energy and passion for musical theatre will help to both infect and inspire those in the St. Louis community to support STAGES in myriad ways. "I have joined the board with a deep commitment to STAGES mission, betterment and growth," commented Curran.

Kara Meister is a Senior Manager in Tax Services with Ernst & Young and has been with the company since 2004. She has been affiliated with Our Little Haven and Junior Achievement. Meister will bring invaluable experience to the board in the area of financing, with a commitment to introduce new audiences and supporters to the STAGES landscape.

Managing Director, Ron Gibbs stated, "Jim and Kara are welcome, strategic additions to our dedicated Board of Trustees. They are young professionals who are intent on bettering the community in which they live and are great patrons of the arts. Kara served as an ad-hoc member of our Finance Committee before joining the Board and two of Jim's three young children have attended classes at the STAGES Performing Arts Academy. They are dynamic, vibrant people and we are thrilled to have them."
