The NonProphet Theater Company presents the first show of their fifth theater season: Danny and the Deep Blue Sea by John Patrick Shanley June 23- July 3, 2011, Thurs - Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 5pm at the Regional Arts Commission, 6128 Delmar Blvd., St. Louis, Missouri 63112. Tickets are $20 general admission, $15 for students (with a valid ID) and seniors 55 and older.

Danny and the Deep Blue Sea by John Patrick Shanley is about Danny, a violent, troubled and self-loathing man who meets Roberta, a divorced mother -  mistrustful of men, and haunted by the memory of an ugly sexual incident in her youth. The two begin a halting conversation in a seedy bar. As their initial reserve begins to melt, the possibility of a genuine and meaningful relationship begins to emerge - the first for both of them. But can it last?

Directed by Raymond Gabica and starring Kevin Kline award-winner Brooke Edwards as Roberta and Kevin Kline award-nominee Robert A. Mitchell as Danny.
