AVENUE Q's Stephanie D'Abruzzo Leads Repertory Theatre of St. Louis' [title of show], 1/13 - 1/31

By:

Tony nominee Stephanie D'Abruzzo, Benjamin Howes, Ben Nordstrom and Amy Justman are set to star in the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis' production of [title of show] that runs Jan. 13-31, 2010. Opening night is Jan. 15, 2010.

[title of show], featuring a score by Jeff Bowen and book and lyrics are by Tony nominee Hunter Bell, tells the story of two hyper-talented young songwriters in New York trying to write a new musical about two hyper-talented young songwriters in New York. With a couple of actress friends in tow, they're on a true Cinderella journey from the unemployment line to the Great White Way, picking up tips on defeating "vampires" who'd sap your will to live and why it's more important to be nine people's favorite thing than a hundred people's ninth favorite thing.

Victoria Bussert directs the regional staging, which will run in the Rep's intimate studio space, below its mainstage in the Loretto-Hilton Center for the Performing Arts.

The production features a creative staff of David Horstman (Musical Director), Scott C. Neal (Scenic Designer), Betsy Krausnick (Costume Designer), John Wylie (Lighting Designer), Rusty Wandall (Sound Designer), Champe Leary (Stage Manager).
