The Edge Theatre Co Holds Auditions For THE BUSY WORLD IS HUSHED 9/9-12

The Edge Theatre Company will hold auditions for our September production of The Busy World Is Hushed by Keith Burnin on Sunday July 25 and Tuesday July 27 at 6:00 PM each day. All those auditioning should prepare a 1-2 minute contemporary dramatic monologue and provide a resume and headshot. Actors may be asked to read from the script as well. Please provide all known conflicts at the time of the audition.
Production dates: September 9-12, 2010
Play Synopsis: Hannah, a minister and Bible scholar, finds her faith at odds with that of Thomas, her estranged, wayward son. But when an inquisitive young writer hired to assist Hannah with her latest publication learns painful secrets from Hannah's past, she spies a risky, unconventional opportunity for reconciliation.
Hannah: late 40's to early 50's
Thomas: mid 20's to early 30's
Brandt: late 20's to mid 30's
