By:

Soprano Evelyn Clary will present an evening of Halloween-inspired music at Columbia Children's Theatre in Richland Mall, 3400 Forest Dr. at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, Oct 28. Admission is free with a donation to Columbia Children's Theatre. The concert is recommended for adults and children 10 years of age and older. Guests are welcome to come dressed in their best haute Halloween couture.

The evening will be filled with spooky tunes from your favorite musicals, including Sweeney Todd, Damn Yankees!, The Medium, Kiss of the Spider Woman, Phantom of the Opera, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Little Shop of Horrors, The Secret Garden, and Into the Woods.

Evelyn graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Music from Columbia College, and earned her Masters of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of South Carolina. She has performed leading roles in operas, musicals, straight plays and movies, and has also worked in costuming, hair design, props, and special effects make-up. Evelyn made her Columbia Children's Theatre debut in 2011's Wonderland! and has been seen in something every season since. She also currently serves on the Board of Directors for CCT and has helped produce the last two CCT Stargazer Galas. She has also performed at Town Theatre, Workshop Theater, High Voltage Theater, and On Stage Productions.

Joining Evelyn will be guest artist Geoffrey Shackley as The Phantom, CCT favorite Julian Deleon singing selections from Kiss of the Spider Woman and The Little Mermaid and CCT's own Artistic Director will make a rare appearance in numbers from Sweeny Todd.

Columbia Children's Theatre is a professional resident not-for-profit theatre dedicated to providing quality live theatre experiences for families and young audiences, and is supported in part by the City of Forest Acres, The Cultural Council of Richland and Lexington Counties and the South Carloina Arts Commission, which receives funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.
