ECP to Hold Auditions for The Best Christmas Pageant Ever Oct 11-12 at 7PM
The Best Christmas Pageant Ever tells the story of six delinquent children surnamed Herdman. They go to church for the first time after being told that the church offers snacks. Despite protests from other church members, the Herdmans are given roles in the Sunday school's Christmas play, in which they tell the Christmas story in their own special way.Auditions will be held Monday, October 11 and Tuesday, October 12 at 7PM in Electric City Playhouse lobby. All ages welcome and the ability to memorize short monologues are a plus. Rehearsals start October 19 and the play will run December 17-19 with five performances. Rehearsal spaces will change and schedules will go out weekly or bi-weekly.
There are four male and six female leads, with as many as 8 male and 9 female smaller roles along with several roles for adults as well.
