Sing'theatre to Present A SINGAPOREAN IN PARIS, 11 - 23 March

By: Jan. 22, 2014

Following the huge success of 2013 productions 8 WOMEN and A FRENCH KISS IN SINGAPORE, Sing'theatre comes back with its 2010 sold-out musical A SINGAPOREAN IN PARIS!

The tremendously acclaimed 2010 cabaret comedy left many people deprived of the chance of catching this must- see show! Now upsized to a bigger location, brightened up with spanking new costumes by Fashion Director Daniel Boey (Best Costume Designer - 2013 Life! Theatre Award) and fuelled with talented fresh blood led by Director Hossan Leong ...don't miss your chance to catch A SINGAPOREAN IN PARIS !

Sing'theatre sold-out jukebox musical, newly directed by star-studded Hossan Leong, revolves around the experience of a Singaporean performer (Hossan himself) who travels to Paris to pursue his life-long dream of performing in a cabaret. He navigates his way around a new city, language and culture and finds himself in the company of other foreign talents, all pursuing their own dreams and overcoming their own hurdles in the City of Light.

Paris and Parisians are not always what he expects: romance is not always with wine and accordions, smiles are not at every street corner and when there is a gre?ve (strike), it means you probably have to walk lots!

The audience will be transported into the heart of a Parisian cabaret, on the song melodies of "My Way", "She" or "What Now My Love", to name just a few. First-class cast Hossan Leong (The Hossan Leong Show, La Cage, A French Kiss in Singapore), Linden Furnell (Edges, Next to normal, A French Kiss in Singapore), Peter Ong (Company), Mina Kaye (Company) and Vicky Williamson (Fantastic Mr Fox, Venice under the snow) - accompanied by a four-piece musical ensemble - will make A SINGAPOREAN IN PARIS a passionate evening of musical celebration!
