Theatre at the Center's production of The Pajama Game had its opening night performance on Sunday, September 15 at the Center for Visual and Performing Arts in Munster.  Artistic Director Linda Fortunato cast Curtis Bannister as Sid, Elizabeth Telford as Babe, Cynthia Carter as Mabel, Kelly Felthous as Gladys, Jason Grimm as Hines, Dan Klarer as Prez, Rick Rapp as Pop and Steve Silver as Mr. Hasler in the musical comedy romance The Pajama Game.

Tony Award-winning Broadway star Kelli O'Hara, accompanied on piano by Sirius/XM® radio personality Seth Rudetsky, headlined Westport Country Playhouse's 2019 Gala, “Black & White Ball: A De-Lovely Evening,” on Saturday evening, September 14. The gala performance was a one-of-a-kind event as the pair shared stories and songs from O'Hara's life and career.

San Francisco's 42nd Street Moon presents its first 2019 production, the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning musical FIORELLO! Based on the life of New York City's legendary mayor Fiorello H. LaGuardia, FIORELLO! features lyrics by Sheldon Harnick, and music by Jerry Bock (SHE LOVES ME, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF) and a book by Jerome Weidman and George Abbott (THE PAJAMA GAME, DAMN YANKEES). 42nd Street Moon's production of FIORELLO! runs from February 27 - March 17, 2019 and will perform at San Francisco's Gateway Theatre (215 Jackson St, San Francisco, CA 94111). Random Access Theatre opens its 2019 season with the World Premiere of Miranda from Stormville by Adam Bertocci. The production, a modern retelling of Shakespeare's The Tempest, runs March 14 - 24 at the IRT Theater in the West Village.  Artistic Director and co-founder, Jennifer Sandelladirects. Music Theatre Wichita continues its 2018 Season with one of the first regional productions of the newly revised Pippin, reflecting the changes composer-lyricist Stephen Schwartz and librettist Roger O. Hirson introduced in the 2013 Broadway revival. Directed and choreographed by Emmy-nominated Al Blackstone ("So You Think You Can Dance"), the lavish production features a 32-member cast in an all-new staging. The fourth of five self-produced musicals in MTWichita's 2018 season, the run continues through July 29. Disney's The Little Mermaid will conclude the season August 8-18.

Los Altos Hills will be alive with The Sound of Music this summer, when multi-award winning Foothill Music Theatre presents the Tony, Grammy, and Academy Award-winning musical. This beloved musical, set in Austria in 1938, follows novice Maria Rainer who becomes the governess for the von Trapp family, capturing the hearts of the seven children and their father, a widowed naval captain. As the Nazis occupy Austria, the family is forced make decisions which forever change their lives, fleeing their home in pursuit of freedom. Director Milissa Carey, music director William Liberatore, and choreographers Brett and C.J. Blankenship breathe new life into this classic tale of hope, love, and family. The Sound of Music will play July 19- August 5, 2018(press opening: July 20) at the Smithwick Theatre, I-280 & El Monte Road, Los Altos Hills.
