Heathers: The Musical, the new smash-hit musical stage adaptation of Daniel Waters' iconic 1989 dark comedy film, just celebrated the release of its World Premiere Cast Recording on Yellow Sound Label- available now for digital download on iTunes, and in stores starting today, June 17. The 35th annual Mississippi Picnic, held yesterday in New York in Central Park, had something for everyone. Alexis Brown (Madison) is a former special assistant and events coordinator at the Mississippi Development Authority and state coordinator for the picnic since 1992 and she once again had a wonderful event planned out for New York City. Governor Phil Bryant and his wife Deborah were there to support the event.
