Tonight, Monday 9 September 2013, multi award-winning recording artist Beverley Knight joins the cast of the hit West End musical The Bodyguard in the lead role of Oscar-nominated superstar Rachel Marron. Also joining the cast is Tristan Gemmill who takes on the role of Rachel's bodyguard, Frank Farmer.

Swarovski is the jewellery and crystal partner for The Bodyguard. The costumes for the show feature over 100,000 Swarovski Elements and were worked on by a team of experts led by award-winning set and costume designer Tim Hatley. Check out the photos below!

Based on Lawrence Kasdan's 1992 Warner Bros. film, this brand new musical of The Bodyguard, with book by Alex Dinelaris, opens at the Adelphi Theatre on December 5 2012.

Starring Heather Headley as Rachel Marron and Lloyd Owen as Frank Farmer in the roles made famous on film by the late Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner, The Bodyguard is currently taking bookings until 27 April 2013 for the production's first booking period. Previews begin on 6 November 2012, twenty years after the release of the Oscar nominated film. Opening night is 5 December.
