On the eve of HAIRSPRAY LIVE!, North Hollywood Arts District's newest theatre exceeds expectations with their production of HAIRSPRAY.

Meet Aldo Sohm, the Wine Director of Le Bernardin and Aldo Sohm Wine Bar in the heart of Midtown Manhattan.

Sam Shepard, the author of AGES OF THE MOON, now on stage at Ensemble Theatre, is noted for writing plays that are frank and often absurd. His language choice is gritty, the setting is the American west, and his characters usually self-destruct. He sometimes includes in his stage directions the requirement that part of the set is to be demolished, much like the lives of the people about whom he writes. The actions of the actors carry out these destructions. AGES OF THE MOON is no exception.

SPRING AWAKENING is the 2007 Tony Award winning rock musical adaptation of Frank Wedekind's 1891 expressionist play about the trials and tribulations as well as the exhilaration of the teen years, exploring the confusion and desperation that ensue when the onrushing tide of hormones meets the ignorance of children.

The BlueBarn Theatre presented SPRING AWAKENING for its regional debut for a month-long engagement. The cast was comprised solely of young local actors and singers. We have the production photos of the show below.

Peter Dinklage (GAME OF THRONES) emceed a sold-out benefit for The Play Company on Monday, April 30 at the American Airlines Theatre in Manhattan. Among those who attended CABARET GOURMET 2012 were Dinklage's wife Erica Schmidt, who directed Play Co's Obie Award-winning production of Jonas Khemiri's play INVASION!, along with producer Ruth Hendel (FELA!), The Play Company's Founding Producer Kate Loewald and Executive Producer Lauren Weigel. No Strings Theatre Company presents 'The Same Life Over' written and directed by Mark Medoff. The play opens Friday, September 25 and runs through Sunday, October 11 at the Black Box Theatre, 430 N Downtown Mall in Las Cruces.
